console: assert() method

assert writes an error message to the console if the assertion is false. If the assertion is true, nothing happens.

Syntax

assert(assertion: boolean, val1, val2, ...): undefined;

Parameters

assertion

Any boolean expression. If the assertion is false, a generic message indicating assertion failure is written to the console.

val1, val2, ...

A list of JavaScript values to output.

return value

None(undefined).
